Sept 14 (Reuters) – JD Sports activities Style (JD.L) on Tuesday posted a surge in first-half earnings on strong demand for sneakers and sportswear as lockdowns ease, however withheld its interim dividend and hinted as an alternative at a “bigger full yr dividend”.
The corporate, which is Britain’s largest sportswear retailer, stated pretax revenue rose to 364.6 million kilos ($504.53 million) for the six months ended July 31 from 41.5 million kilos a yr earlier.
